  • Children's Home of Poughkeepsie

    A great family project!
    Repair/replant raised planters, clearing and replant flower beds, and trail clearing.
    Location: 10 Childrens Way, Poughkeepsie


  • Grace Smith House

    A great family project!
    Flower bed and walkway weeding, raking and leaf removal, mulch rotation and spreading.
    Location: Poughkeepsie area


  • Pershing Ave. Historical Cemetery

    A great family project!
    Historical Cemetery clean-up (garbage bags will be provided to remove debris).
    Location: 37 Pershing Ave, Poughkeepsie
    Time: 2PM


  • Cereal Counts Boxing

    Boxing up donated cereal to distribute to local pantries.

  • Crafting Corners

    Appropriate for all ages, a great family project!
    Making care boxes, Rosh Hashanah cards (for Senior Holiday Gifts), and succulents.

Mitzvah Day Collections:

  • Cereal Counts Collection: New boxes of Cereal for food pantry distribution.
  • Jewish War Veterans Collection: Individually wrapped snacks, canned goods, plastic wrap and  aluminum foil.

Drop off locations: Jewish Federation office or Bring to Headquarters on May 5th (Congregation Schomre Israel, 18 Park Ave, Poughkeepsie 12603)
