Chuck Mishaan has been lecturing for many years on the intellectual, political, and artistic history of Western Europe from the Enlightenment to the present. He has presented his popular lectures on 'Opera as Politics', 'The Roaring 20's', 'Between the Wars: Arts and Culture of the 1930's', 'The War and After: Arts and Culture of the 1940's', and 'Authoritarianism and the Arts'. He is currently presenting as several Hudson Vally campuses, including Bard College, Vassar College, Marist University, and SUNY New Paltz, as well as at other public and private venues.
